  "Visited the Castle Carvery last Tuesday evening as a treat for my son-in-laws 27th birthday. There were 5 of us including our 4 year old grandson. The place was rather quiet when we arrived at around 5 pm & tables were quite easy to come by. This soon charged & before long the place was mobbed & it ..."soon became apparent why! The carvery is a stunning success & the queue was as long as the bar in no time with plates piled high (too high in some instances due to greed in my opinion) with freshly roasted meats & fresh veg. The Castle Carvery also caters for other tastes & not just carvery meals with a pretty extensive menu at reasonable & competitive prices. A big thank you to Sean (Shaun) who helped my wife & I surprise my son-in-law with an impromptu candle in a dessert & to the 3 waitress who accompanied the aforementioned dessert with a chorus of Happy Birthday to you!
