A grater with fresh cheese was provided so we could grate our own cheese. The Italian bread was fantastic - chewy and fresh. They even provided butter upon request. Our entire meal, including one glass of wonderful wine and one small beer came to 67 SFR before tip, which we found reasonable.   "Located two blocks from the Central Tram stop in the Niederdorf neighborhood. This restaurant just opened in late April serving Swiss grown products. They also have locations in Lausanne and Geneva. Staff were very friendly and very helpful with explaining the menu set-up and my inquiries. ..."The staff speaks German and English. The seating arrangement consists of long wooden benches and tall stools. Huge windows offer a nice view to people watch. In nice weather there are also sidewalk tables that can accommodate up to 30 people. I ordered the Smokey Big Cheese and Bacon Burger combo for CHF 19.90, which included a very large order of great fries and a selection from bottled tea beverages or you can opt for flavored tea from the soda fountain.   "With some trepidation we went on a hotel staff recommendation. So many of these suggestions have been fails lately. This recommendation was bang on. We had superb food and service for, in Zurich terms, not an outrageous price. The appetizers we had were carpaccio with truffles and caprese salad,..." we shared both and loved each. The truffles were fairly flavourless black summer truffles, but they were so generous in the amount, it worked. Entrees were both veal based, mine with fresh asparagus and hers with more truffles. Both worked perfectly along with chosen wines, mine from Antinori. Service was intelligent, friendly and prompt.
