"We went there following a recommendation from our hotel and we were not disappointed. It is a small restaurant with a great atmosphere, good service and a lovely menu. We were delighted by the "little extra" courses served and we were 3 hours enjoying good food, good wine and chatting with friends. ..."The waiter gave some excellent recommendations for wines local to the region, both of which were also a reasonable price - so you felt the whole meal was excellent value. The pork main course came a little pink compared to what we are used to but it was still a very enjoyable meal. Worth booking if you are thinking of going - it would be a real shame to miss out.

"On a wet Saturday lunch time it was a real treat to come across this Lyonnaise restaurant in a small square with great local dishes. There is a set menu written on a blackboard with about 6 choices of each courses and an exceptional low price for tasty, good quality food. This is not a fine dining r..."estaurant but full of locals enjoying hearty food such as sausage, pork shin, trout, escargots or ravioli. Service was friendly and helpful and all were happy to explain the menu in English where needed. The place is clean and yet decorated with some lovely old memorabilia which adds to the ambience. When you go, check out the yellow poste box inside - it is actually a cupboard for the condiments.

"My girlfriend and I ate here on a whim on a Sunday evening and were really impressed. The ambiance and food presentation was spectacular.
To start we had the fois gras and a cheese dish which were both succulent and fresh.
We both had the filet du beuf for the main which was accompanied by s..."easonal legumes. All were delicious and presented beautifully.
For dessert my girlfriend had the creme Brule which was a flambe and served in a martini glass flaming at the table. A perfect end to the evening. I had the traditional tarte prailene which was absolutely amazing.
We had a bottle of local rouge wine with the meal and each had a glass of champagne with dessert.
The bill came to a reasonable 116 euro and would gladly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic traditional dining experience in Lyon.
