"This was without a doubt the best meal we enjoyed on our trip to Northern France. The restaurant was exactly as we had seen it described, "Elegant, but low key'. We had decided to splurge a little that evening and so we got the Menu Normand- five courses of Bayeux Bliss including the local cheese ..."plate- superb. Get the full menu and enjoy having the table for the entire evening. Prices are not terrible, comparable to that of a nicer restaurant in France. Highly recommended as a place to enjoy fresh, local cuisine.

"Like others, we had set out for Rapiere but it was full. So we tried this place across the alleyway for its elegant modern decor and very friendly hostess/waitress. Bottle of pinot noir from Alsace was excellent. Hubby loved his goat cheese/beet appetizer. My sushi was ok, nothing special. ..."But the lamb was unbelievably tender and flavorful. And the side veggies! - zucchini stuffed with sweet potato and eggplant, a carrot-potato lasagna. Hubby enjoyed his scallops with chorizo. I couldn't pass up the creme brulee trio - almond, orange and cherry. He had the gourmet coffee with a wonderful dessert assortment. The service was excellent. All for 97 euros including a bottle of wine. High recommend!

It also advertised onion soup, and when we inquired before sitting down, we were answered in a friendly, English-speaking voice in the affirmative. We were given a lovely booth, received attentive service, and enjoyed our two onion soups, plus a delicious dessert of almond ice cream with caramel topping. The young man at the bar, who also served as host, was exceptionally professional, and the server was equally professional and friendly. We appreciated being treated as guests and not an...
