Can highly recommend the treacle tart and the rice pudding with prunes. I had fish which was beautifully cooked and my other half had pigeon breasts which he said were ..."delicious. Wine list pricey but it is probably on a par with restaurants in general. There were a couple locally brewed beers which pleased the men in our party. Restaurant is cosy with a pleasant atmosphere and music which fits the surroundings and isn't too loud. There were only 2 waiting staff on this particular night which may account for the overly long wait to order dessert, in fact i had to ask if we could order.
