"We often stop here for tea and scones. We have been going to Baileys for many years. When Louise and Dean took over the business it had been closed for some time. To make a long story short, we are really glad they did! I always have a cheese scone with parmigiano sprinkled on top. My wife has..." a fruit scone with lemon curd (homemade no less :-)). The staff is friendly and very efficient. The folks have an outstanding reputation and they deserve it. We always stop in whenever we are in Bury St. Edmunds. The also serve light lunches and the pudding menu is outstanding. By all means go and enjoy.

"Yes it's expensive here and on a par with central London prices but the setting, food and service are excellent.
It's a couple of years since I last ate here, on my return I found the restaurant was as good as I remembered from previous visits.
