There is always a special and the soups are excellent. I had to laugh at the reviewer who said the service is abrupt but fun....that about sums it up!!! The decor is a bit kitschy, the restaurant used to be in a much older building with plank floors that burned down years ago. The food here is not gourmet, it's just good German comfort food.
