"Chef Laudico Guevarra's is decent buffet experience in a grand old house, giving you a bit of that home-cooked meal sensation.
Although we ate there on a weekday, the place was packed, so although they have a generous parking area, it was problematic for late diners. Make an early reservation to ..."ease this possible hitch in your dining experience.
The restaurant offers a very decent spread of Filipino food with hints of fusion, giving many of the dishes an extra kick. The main courses are far better than the desserts, and they also give you unlimited fountain drinks. The staff is polite and attentive, although it's a bit funny to see advertising for "Crocs" stitched on all the staff's aprons.
I'd recommend this place and would eat here again.

"I invited my husband to a dinner date in this new restaurant in San Juan. Since it was an impromptu date, I just called on that same day to make a reservation but I was informed that they're already fully-booked and we're on waiting list. We took our chances and proceeded anyway.
When we got to ..."the place around 10 mins before seven, my husband liked that there was a wide area for parking. (With which, he soon realized was not enough due to the large number of customers. To think, it was only Thursday night!). It was a huge old wooden mansion converted into a restaurant. Kind of give you a nostalgic feeling. As expected, we're still on waitlist. So we killed time in their lawn where they had some rattan chairs with few tables where we enjoyed the blanket of the night sky. Well, until, it started to rain. Good thing a family billed out.
Ok, here's my review:
LOCATION: It's within the residential area of Bgy Addition Hills. If you're not familiar with the place better get a map ...

"Chef Laudico Guevarra's is an old house transformed into an intimate and cozy filipino buffet restaurant. Unlike other buffet restos where food are cooked with too much oil or salt, Guevarra's food is light and adds a new twist to age old fliipino favorites. Must try are their grilled varieties, L..."echon and the desserts! And for the price, which ranges from P400-P700 depending on time and day, its really worth it. The place tends to get packed during weekends dinner so service and food refilling speed might not be that great. Be there early and go on a weekday for a leisurely and truly enjoyable dining experience. Best to call ahead to reserve.
