"My husband and I returned to Chichen Itza as we had visited it two years ago whereby we stayed at another hotel. We had spotted the Mayaland and I said if we ever return, that is where I want to stay. So we booked a tour through Greyline and ended up with a breakfast upon arrival, with a brunch se..."lection after we toured the ruins along with free alcoholic beverages. The breakfast was sliced fruit and various buns, and was nice to have upon our arrival. The brunch however I ordered spaggetti with shrimp and my husband had a beef steak, any way we both found it overly salted, perhaps this was to make us thirstier, although the drinks were free. "While visiting the Chitzen Itza ruins our tour included a lunch buffet at the Mayaland buffet restaurant. There was a great variety of food to choose from at different locations throughout the restaurant. Weather you were vegetarian or just wanted a Mexican food experience there was enough choices..." for everyone in our group. This included a station where a lady sat and prepared fresh tortilla's for each person as you went through the line. I personally liked the cultural experience with the Mayan dancers in full dress performing during our lunch. They each danced with open bottles of beer on their heads and throughout the spins and dancing didn't drop a bit. Lots of fun and still able to relax and enjoy the peaceful setting.

"Oh my gosh! This restaurant is the best one I've tried in my entire life! Their Mexican food is so fresh, so tasty, so Mexican, and I'm saying that having lived in the USA and tried Mexican food all the time while in there.
Even my 2-year-old daughter tried their out-of-this-world advocado, and w..."ouldn't stop eating. The service was amazing even though they were quite crowded that day.
If you don't believe me, ask for their guestbook and read all the wonderful reviews they have got from people all over the world.
