For mains we had a seafood bisque from the main menu and Hake from the Specials. Again the bisque was fine, possibly a little over-spiced, but very good. However the Hake was probably the best bit of fish I've ever had. Totally delicious and beauitifully cooked.   "We ate at this pub two nights in a row, whilst staying at a lovely B&B just down the road called Amy Cottage. The pub was superb fine real ales and a permanent cider festival with 19 different ciders on tap! The food was delicious - huge portions, great value for money, quick service & a friendly at..."mosphere. Dogs are very welcome here, which is great. My top tip is to get here for when they start serving food at 6pm as you cant reserve a table and the pub gets filled up fast. " More >
