"A hidden gem off a main road. A bakery, but you can have free coffee and enjoy a
pastry on the patio. Magnificent mountain views. The large Fr. bread was crisp on the
outside, holey and chewy on the inside, with good stretch. And a large loaf for 240 Yen.
A steal."
"We always stop off to eat here ... when we want Italian. It may not be the real McCoy ... but it's still better than most and we're in Nasu not Naples, after all. The onion gratin soup never let's you down and their Carbonara was creamy but not sickly rich. The pizza wasn't as good as it has been .....". but, enjoyable none the less.

"The atmosphere was interesting, with heaps of Beatles memorabilia throughout the room ... although a wee bit dear (but perhaps normal for being a tourist resort place, I guess), the food was big and pretty good!
The beef stew was chunky and the cheese fondue ... a tasty rich cheesy sauce with plent..."y of bread and a few snags.
