"I made a phone reservation for lunch since the online reservation doesn't accept reservations for one person. I booked 2 weeks in advance and chose the 1:00pm time slot. I went on a Monday but I think for weekend reservations, you will need to book at least 2 months in advance. I was seated promptly..." at a nice corner table where I can enjoy the view of the whole room. I was primarily served by two waiters who can speak decent English. Although one of them was kind of aloof. I chose Menu A from the lunch menu (¥10,000) but decided to order 2 special appetizers that added an extra ¥2,500 yen to my bill. "This is a chain restaurant, so any one of them is wonderful for menu items made with green tea and other food choices. I've eaten at the one by the Tokyo Sky Tree Tower and the one in the Kyoto shopping mall. Both were of equally good quality. I highly recommend this place for a refreshing experi..."ence.

They were all top-notch and themed in clever Japanese ways (though, shouldn't Teikoku be the name of the Imperial IPA?)
As a New Englander, I was also delighted and slightly confused to find out that their other pride is the New Haven style pizza they offer! No idea why a bar in the middle of Tokyo is known for their Connecticut-style pizza, but hey, like many times in Japan I just rolled with it. Delicious pizza; I had the one loaded with mushrooms and couldn't have been happier. Overall a true hidden gem in Naka...
