We ate here a couple of times in the evening as it was directly opposite our hotel Monteverde Country Lodge. On each occasion the food was good and the service by Alexandro the only waiter was excellent. It is a very quiet restaurant partially due to its location but we would definitely chose to eat here should we ever return.

Truly wonderful dining experience! They claim the "best hamburger in Monteverde" - and I wouldn't dispute it. Professional and efficient service - very fair prices.

Oh dear ... I suspect the chef was over stretched cooking for 57 + people for lunch - all arriving together. Starter was excellent with 4 types of dips with a bread and we'd all preordered our main course but one hour in people are still only just receiving their main course. What a warm inviting dining room! Gorgeous hand-shaped wood tables and chairs, terrific food, good wine list. Quick service, beautiful presentation.

Go for the steaks and stay for the family. Don Pepe will become your newest family member or best friend and that is not a bad thing.
