I have been frequenting this pub for over a year now, whether it be with my husband on a Friday or Saturday evening, work collegues for lunch during the week, or a family outing at the weekend with my children who are 7 and 11 years old. It is a friendly country pub with great value for money and always... More

Generous portions of good quality food, nice pub atmosphere, clean and tidy and a good pint of beer what more could you ask for!

This pub is a little treasure. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. The only thing I don't really like is the company of dogs roaming around, not the most hygienic of situations, especially when they're under your table, whilst you eat!

We have been going to the blue ball most summers. The garden is large the food is generally good but on occasion can be poor. Ciabatta rolls have been frozen, burgers very very greasy and sadly yesterday a suspicious looking hair was found in my husbands burger. Ewww. On mentioning this to the waitress sadly there was no follow up... More

Went here with our 11 year old son today and had a fabulous lunch. None of us fancied a tradititional sunday roast (£10). My son had scampi £11 which was a huge portion, my other half had smoked gammon, eggs & chips, I had the special which was salmon & asaparagus quiche served with new potatoes & a huge salad... More

This is a pub which me and my family have been going to for years as we love the food and it is reasonably priced. Tonight me and my fiancé arrived with our 5 month old baby who was at the time fast asleep in his car seat. As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted by... More

I had been to the pub before and thought the food was basic but nice, this time though something seems to have changed. The landlady was not very friendly and the bar staff do not seem to be getting on with each other, the food still looks OK but due to the atmosphere we will "not" be returning. This is... More

We visited as a family last summer, and we were able to sit outside. very nicely kept garden, with lovely views. The food is very good, and the portion sizes are very big. Lots of variety on the menu, and there is a specials board daily Would definitely recommend to others

Went as a four for a meal. The pub, tables decor etc are basic but clean. Food was great, well cooked and decent sized portions. Excellent value all round. Bit out the way but worth the effort to find. Would eat there again.
