Very good typical Bavarian cuisine. If anything is truly unforgeable about Germany it is the wonderful food, beer and wine.

Some interesting vegetarian menu choices. Friendly and helpful staff. Pleasant and homey atmosphere.
loved the food. they made chicken noodles with spicy sauce exclusively for us and the chef did a great job. its a little on the higher side.. each main dish would cost average13 Euros.. but we were happy with the food.
We stayed at a Bavarian Forest Holidays apartment which is very close to this restaurant so it is an ideal opportunity to get to walk through the village and end up with a gorgeous meal in friendly surroundings.
Some of the menus have English translations which is great for understanding the typical Bavarian and Bohemian dishes - whether or not...

They serve typical Bavarian and Bohemian dishes, use fresh local ingredients in season - fish, game, wild mushrooms, blueberries. All excellent and well presented! We all (4 of us) enjoyed our meal. My friends have game dishes. I for myself can certainly recommend the creamy soup with wild mushrooms. My lightly grilled fish fillets with delicate Hollandaise and Riesling sauces...

Good food, well cooked at a reasonable price. Sit indoors if you want to avoid smokers. Lots of local food options and very (un) healthy portions so stick to 2 courses !!
Excellent traditional food
Friendly staff
English translation on menu if requested
Good value
We enjoyed so much the first time that we returned. Children can either have smaller portionsofwhat is on the menu or there is a children's menu. The menu is extensive with both traditional meals and simpler alternatives using fresh local produce. I recommend the fresh fish. Deserts...

Food good for once but after 3 times going there when nothing else open . felt like torture. as too heavey and trying too hrd to be upmarket. . eventually other places in town where open to give some light relief.
Tipical Bavarian food. Looks like a popular place. The restaurant was recommended by the owner of the pension where we stayed, and we were not disappointed. Food and service were excellent. The only thing which could be better are the prices, a little bit too high.
Our meal was fresh, well cooked and presented and my wine was lovely and cold. The service was super friendly and attentive without being over-bearing. Sitting beside the road gave us something to watch with the traffic going by and wasn't too noisy...just not the most fabulous atmosphere.
