Great ambience, brilliant service, wonderful food. Took my wife there on mother's day. We enjoyed it so much we returned again prior to leaving. The waiter is absolutely brilliant. He explains what each dish is if required and his knowledge of wines is incredible. The price may be a little more expensive that other restaurants in the area but the... More

The restaurant ranks well with other creative restaurants in the Canaries. Slightly more expensive than other local restuarants but impeccable service, beautiful presentations and mouthwatering food, is well deserved. Starters of beef carpaccio and red peppers stuffed with fish, followed by pork with beetroot chutney and 'pan pan?' local fish plus deserts, wine and the ever-brilliant lavazza espresso for around... I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food had real flavour and was creatively presented. The waiter who served us was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the food and wines. Prices were a little more than some of the other restaurants in the area but in comparison to English prices was quite low for the standard of food. Excellent... More

5 of us dined at this wonderful restaurant on 2 occasions. The food was absolutely outstanding, and the service excellent. On the second occasion (the last night of our holiday) we left the choice of wines to our wonderful host and he didn't let us down. He didn't rip us off either! Perfectly matched to every course. The only small... More

Spotted this entry, initially could not locate it but went in search anyway. It is just down the hill from the Playa del Arena hotel. We were not disappointed. The menu was different from the normal fare and the wine list extensive. Staff very friendly and most knowledgeable about their wine - they have a wine shop as well. Although... More

The Cafe Jardin Flor del Drago is a very friendly restaurant with good food. Not of Michelin quality, but very good and quite exceptional for the price. We loved especially the starters (croquettes) which where served in a very nice way. The wine list is good and the waiter is knowledgable and inetrested in Spanish wine. Highly recommended.

Just back from a lovely week in Tenerife which was made more enjoyable by the beautiful meals we had in Flor del Drago. Julio and his wife Nuria are so attentive to make sure the customer is looked after, once you have dined here you would not want to eat anywhere else. I own an apartment in this area and... More

We ate at this restaurant several times during our stay in Playa De La Arena. Julio and his wife seemed to work round the clock - always there with a warm welcome. Julio displayed a real passion for food and drink, which was immediately apparent from the menu and the selection of wines available both to drink in the restaurant... More
