This is the example of what advertising can really do for your business. Doli Kuey Tiau certainly has not lived up to its famed and the overrated media fuss. I went for their supposedly original branch in Taiping with my family, and we all had their RM10.00 special fried kuey tiau. It does not make my taste bud tingling for... More

Was there for an early dinner at about 6:30pm. Arriving at the place, there was a number of customers mainly families and couples. We took the table near the entrance and waited until we have to called for service. While waiting for the famous kuey teow, I went to the restroom. Unfortunately the light is broken so it was dark... The new restaurant in Jalan Tupai is far out - just opposite the new Polyclinic or Outpatient Government clinics. The quality of the koay teow has deteriorated as compared to years ago, and the price has skyrocketed. For the cost of living in Taiping, the plate of koay teow and drinks in this restaurant is far too expensive. It is... More

We ordered the special kuetiau at RM9 per plate, for the portion and quality it should be priced at RM5 at most. The fresh orange at RM3.10 per glass is so watery and disgustingly sweet and should cost no more than RM1.50. Service is terribly slow with only two waiters manning the entire restaurant which was packed with customers. Seven... More

Had family dinner at Restaurant DOLI TTDI in KL. Read earlier reviews and was persuaded. The food was only average, even the fried kueyteow. Have tasted better elsewhere in KL.

If you are in Taiping you should visit this restaurant. They serve the best keautiaw goreng and delicious mee kari. It's a real deal! Good value for money! All the locals go there for what Malaysian call "tea" or makan petang. But be prepared to wait a lot more longer than you usually do, because that's the price you have... More
