This place is on a quite-busy commercial road, very close to the US Embassy, and a 10 minute rickshaw ride from Gulshan Circle-2. Although the neighborhood is busy with businesses, banks and hardware shops, North End Coffee Roasters is a quiet oasis in the middle. The couple (Rick and Chris) who started this place in 2011, offering both premium quality... More

Great coffee and pastries here. The service is excellent and it is a totally nice place to hang out and have a little peace from the bustling city outside.

it is ok, more like a student hang out place, nothing really particular, again, if it ok but only if you are around as i have found very similar or better places in Dhaka (for a coffee)

I really enjoyed the brownies and cinnamon rolls. The pastries are home-made and delicious, although the selection is quite small. The coffee brewed in-house is very nice as well. The decor is simple and clean, nothing special. I can't recommend the coffee beans that they sell to take home, though. Mine were not roasted or stored adequately. They were humid... More

finally, a proper barista. the place smells heavenly, a coffee lover's paradise. it's cozy and the staff is very friendly - ideal place to sit with a book or your laptop, sip on coffee and a fresh cinnamon roll on the side and just forget about the clock!

Very friendly staff, very good coffee, very very good cinnamon rolls. The prices are Western around 2 euro for a coffee, but the coffee is up to European standard. The atmosphere is ok, the Nora Jones soundtrack becomes a bit annoying after hearing it so often and the decor is a bit bland, but the cafe is very clean. All... More

Better than some places in Seattle. Simple things done well. They make four or five sweets but the cinnamon buns on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays make you happy. Hopefully soon this American run place will offer savory food as well.

Also a small nice place where you can get yourself a good coffee in chilled surroundings. Not exactly what one should expect in a place like Dhaka.

if you're looking for coffee, there are enough other places to get a good fix. This place is in a rubbish location, pretty average ambience, and only coffee with brownies or mini muffins to be had. Same coffee is sold in other places- so dont waste time trying to get here.

A rich aroma of coffee beckons you as you go up the steps. The moment you step in, a warm living room like setting meets your eyes with comfy couches and tables spread conveniently across the room. A blackboard on the wall behind the counter lists the coffee varieties available. On the counter you have the munchies, aka sinful brownies,... More
