In the vicinity of Senado Square, there is a side street that has a Koi Kei Pastileria every few doors. You can practically have a 'meal'-ful of snacks just savouring the goodies from one shop to the next. Crowded pretty much every single trip I've been there (which is about 10 times?!), I almost always buy only the Almond flaky... More

I always bring home something Koi Kei whenever I am in Macau, simply because their traditional cookies taste wonderful. It certainly suits my Asian palate. Now the store has taken things to a higher level. There are workers demonstrating how some of these cookies are made. How can anyone resist buying these cookies? It also helps that Koi Kei has... Like many traditional bakeries in Macau, Koi Kei is selling jerky, almond cakes, egg rolls etc. I personally don't think that the food sold here is better than others. Well, everyone is different. You could always try before you buy at Koi Kei and/or other similar bakeries. Every bakery offers you some samples of food for tasting. After all, you... More

My wife was wondering what people who come from Macau bring in there bags. Now she knows. She loves it and my son loves it from tasting so much samples, they had to bring more for him. Not much service though on the dried pork and beef section besides the competitor's is better by far. I guess biscuits are their... More

Tried the Portuguese egg tart after seeing the extremely long line. I was disappointed as the tart was very oily.

There are Koi Kei Bakeries all over Macau. I bought my cookies and eggrolls at the outlet in the Venetian. They offer samples of all their products except for the egg tarts. All the samples were soooo yummy!! They are great to give to friends and family as many of their items are individually packaged. I also found Koi Kei... More

There are many portuguese-style bakeries in Macau, but Ko Kei Bakery is the first I tried because one of their shops is located at the feet of St Paul ruins. Do not hesitate to step inside where visitors are really welcome to taste all of their cookies for free! But be aware: you will probably endup buying one too many... More
