We have been going to Karen's since she opened. Food and staff are exceptional. This is a don't miss Bucerias experience for breakfast, lunch or a romantic dinner.

After reading so many great reviews, we decided to stop here for lunch, but we were so excited to see that they were still serving breakfast items around noonish, after having resort buffet for a week it was nice to change it up. We have tried twice previously to go for "Happy Hour" at Karen's Place. Despite the signs everywhere that it's open to the public and "Everyone Welcome," that has not been our experience.

Karen runs a top notch little restaurant right on the white sandy beach of Bucerias - and she runs it very efficiently! The brunch menu is traditional and well prepared and the drinks are great and continuous. Also a great place for Sundowners - one of the few places where you can see the sunset all winter.

Karen's Place is a delightful restaurant on the water in Bucerias. Beautiful surroundings when you enter the grounds. Has a lovely pool and bar area, with poolside service if you want.
The restaurant is on the beach so one can eat on the deck or inside the restaurant with view of the bay.
