This place has some great food and well priced. We have had many weekend lunchs/brunches here, just the 2 of us and with the family. Great staff, great food, great place.

We had breakfast here before a trip to white island and the breakfast set us up for the day. Fantastic cooked breakfast tasty and well cooked, would go back here without a shadow of a doubt.

beautiful coffee, nice choice of wine and beer. Yummy food, from brekkie to lunch. Always good service, different spots to sit at, outside at balcony, lovely vieuw. Inside, lovely atmosfhere and down below at street level, lovely vieuws.

Enjoyed lunch here from an extensive menu and the food tasted good - I had a feta & spinach scroll with a salad. A good coffee. The service was friendly and prompt and the prices were moderate. We were also able to sit outside and enjoy the Whakatane sunshine! Will be back to enjoy some more!

All cooked to order and rather too large portions! Would last you all day! We ordered our breakfast from the villa for a certain time but it was never ready, they started to cook it when we arrived.

We have eaten breakfast here for three days. Eggs with bacon, tomato etc. It was very good. Also the coffee is great.

This is not the same old boring food you often get. It was beautifully presented, tasted just as good and was reasonably priced. The coffee was great too. Nice atmosphere in the place and even though it was busy at the time with people going to White Island it didn't overwhelm enjoyment of others.

On our recent trip to Whakatane we had breakfast at Pee Jays on our first morning, and returned twice! Good menu - lots of choice - and good value.

have eaten here on numerous occasions and in the past it has been very good. However our visit on the 30/12/12 was disppointing I had an extreme breakfast which was anything but, I assume they have a new or relieving chef, coffee and service was good.
