Best batter I've had for ages, lovely fish and proper chips. Cold beers and very reasonable prices. Owners are friendly and welcoming, looking forward to going back!

After the frozen chips that are offered with most meals it was great to have some proper chippy chips. Staff are friendly and take the time to enquire about your day

Home from Home chip shop. The best you'll get in the Canaries. Great fish & chips, sausage, curry sauce & mushy peas!:O) Great ice cold pint of San Miguel too. Owners are really friendly, helpful & welcoming. Give it a try if you are in the area, its better than Burger King!

We wouldn't normally visit a fish and chip shop when on holiday, but after visiting another restaurant where the owner complained that the 'Plaice in the Sun' shouldn't even be allowed on trip advisor's restaurants we thought we would see what all the fuss was about. We went here the evening we were burgled in playa blanca/ Montana roja. We just wanted something comforting and simple. Nice place sympathized with us. I would recommend it!

Just returned from holiday and can definitely recommend "Plaice in the Sun"' had a lovely fish and chip supper, it was just like having prime fish and chips at Whitby. Will definitely visit when we go back to lanzarote.
