For Noto,, this restaurant is a 5 star. Good food...excellent service. And in reference to the previous comment, didn't think 14 euros for an excellent fish dinner with salad was pricy.

We followed TA recommendations to eat at the Meliora and were the only customers for lunch! Noto does not seem to offer too much for dining, at least in terms of quality. Being full of tourists it is obviously full of tourist restaurants, some looking really scary. We tried this lovely restaurant when the one in our guide book was booked up and we were thrilled with the food and service. Delicious local wine too. Do take the time to find it in the upper town. Better than anything we tried in the more touristy lower town.
