My wife and I decided to try the Gadie Restaurant on 19th April my birthday. The premises is only open Thursday through to Sunday and the menu choice is slightly limited but there is something to suit most tastes. Our meal was first class and the services was good and also friendly. would definately go back without any hesitation.
Thank you for your kind words. Birthdays are special. We are always delighted when folks choose to dine with us on special occaisions.

First, let me apologise for taking so long to write this second review. I tried to post immediately after my second visit but Trip Advisor wouldn't let me and it only now occurred to me to do so.
After my first disappointing visit I received a phonecall of apology from the proprietor, Robin, with an offer to dine again to...

Went to Gadies last night for dinner - amazing. Not only was the service fantastic (friendly but not too friendly, perfect timing), but the food was really first class - it would give any 5* a run for it's money. Fab value for money - you get what you pay for - and this was as good as it gets...

My girlfriend and I ate at Gaddie's 17/5. The food was exquisite from a starter of scallops to finish of a beatiful cheesecake via a fine steak cooked to perfection with lovely home made chips. The staff were attentive, helpful and friendly.
This is the best restaurant we have eaten at in Aberdeenshire....We have tried many!!!
Go there and be...

Lovely place, decorated nicely & well laid out with attentive staff. Great for a lunch visit or afternoon tea. Their cakes look spectacular and taste amazing, I can thoroughly recommend the Victoria Sponge.
The downside, this place is a little out of the way and it's a tad pricey (I noticed a small glass of wine was around a fiver)....

What a lovely Place!
We had Mother's Day Lunch at this little rural restaurant in Aberdeenshire and I have to say it was utterly delightful! My family and I had lamb, the waitress said was from a Turiff Farm, that was so tender and perfectly cooked. My Mother had chicken with an herby crust, again well cooked and nicely presented....

My wife and a couple of our friends visited for a meal: and we'll be back again!
My wife and I have been before, our friends hadn't: first off, they commented how nice the restaurant was and one commented how it was neither too hot nor too cold as many places either roast you or freeze you with air con....

My husband daughter and I went to Gadie's to celebrate our birthdays. We booked the table for 7pm about two weeks in advance. The restaurant opens at 6pm.
When we entered we were shown to our table by a pleasant lady who made sure we knew about the wine of the month, but neglected to tell us what the soup...

We are sorry that you were disappointed with the service on your recent visit to Gadie's but we have noted that you appreciated the quality of food. The ethos at Gadie's is to treat all customers the way we would personally wish to be treated. In this case we are not sure that this has happened. We value your comments...
