Well we went to deja vu on saturday evening. 3 couples and 4 children aged 3 to 8. table booked for 8pm. Beautiful restaurant I must say and service on entering premises excellent. Got drinks and poppadoms within minutes of being seated. All went wrong from time we ordered our main courses. We waited and waited, an hour went by.... More

We were very glad to have booked a table as it soon filled up. We realised quickly why a booking was essential, the food and service was superb! We were seated immediately at our table and were given drinks and poppadoms within minutes of sitting down. As we were happily munching, we were given an extensive and enticing appetizers and... Arrived at 7.45 pm and order taken about 8.15 pm. We asked where the starters were several times. Still no starters by 10 pm so we asked yet again and we were ignored, Eventually some of the starters came out, but they were cold and dried out - probably sitting around for ages. I'm not sure that is too healthy.... More

went in for a takeway and when İ got home couldnt believe it. 3 tiny bites of chicken in a pot of sauce and the other dish was a soggy garlic dish. the restaurant is just being expanded but on this experience would give it a wide berth

I cannot fault the place. We've tried others in the area but none quite hit the mark like Deja does. The food is just superb, the quality of the meat is good and lots of it. The Manager, Abdul, is extremely accommodating, friendly and not afraid to get involved. He waits on tables, clears plates, takes orders, does anything and... More

We have been to de ja vu on about 10 occasions travelling from Potters Bar especially. We have tried numerous local Indian Restaurants but always return here. I can highly recommend it. The price is reasonable, food very nice and staff attentive. The south Indian garlic chicken is their signature dish which is a lovely balanced dish. They accept taste... More

6 of us went out for a curry together at De Ja Vu in Cheshunt. It is very clean and modern looking but the music! What is going on? It's is so loud we had to shout to have a conversation. People seated around a table want to eat and chat! And because the music is so loud everyone has... More
