A friendly welcome awaits you in this bar/restaurant lying back from the port. The walls are gaily painted with local fishing scenes. Otherwise, the deco is sobre, but the lovely old floor tiles have been preserved. There is plenty of choice on the three course menu at EUR 34. We started with ravioli of lamb sweetbreads and langoustines, and scallops... More

The place looks deceptively low key but they do know how to cook delicious food. I can especially recommend their lamb. Service is charming and attentive. And the prices are very reasonable.

Every time we go to this restaurant the food is wonderful and the service too . It is owned by a young couple (husband - chef and wife - front of house). The menu changes with the seasons using local produce such as fish, duck, lamb and the presentation and tastes are of Michelin star standard. For a 3 course... More

My elderly father, even older mother in law and my son stopped here for lunch en route to Normandy. As we were looking forward to a big dinner later, we only had a main course each. The service was friendly, helpful and charming with no evident disappointment that we were not going for 3 courses. We enjoyed delicious, turbot, sea... More

my wife and I were staying in a nearby town on the coast when we came across L'Auberge de la Marine on trip advisor. All our meals up until then had been pretty average and we needed to find some great local cuisine. At first we thought that we'd gone to the wrong place as it seemed more like an... More

Thanks to TA we visited this restaurant last week, and so glad we did. Food was superb, wines were great and reasonably priced, and the service was faultless . From the outside it does not look that great, and entering through the bar area does not give you an impression of how nice the restaurant is (the girls said that... More

Excellent food and wonderful service. The fish dishes we had were delicious and arranged on the plate like a painting (but not nouvelle cuisine!) Go for wine by the pichet - lovely Sauvignon Blanc and not expensive. Two meals here - one at 22 euros menu and other at 33 euros - both fantastic. If you are staying at St... More

Ok, those who read my review of the hotel will not stay overnight at the Auberge. YOU WILL HOWEVER go there and have lunch, dinner, whatsoever. You must book a few days in advance - otherwise you get no seat. We had the fish mille feuille and nice desserts. Wine is very reasonaby priced, try the Sauvignon. friendly service, good... More
