The owner/manager is a young man with a desire to run a good, popular restaurent, and he's well on his way. The menu offers a wide selection of well cooked dishes, and the dips include one of his own invention which is outstanding.

Fantastic veggie dishes, lots of great fish meals, great baklava, low key friendly staff, very reasonable. Bring your own booze and corkage was only £4.

One of favorite restraints in Braodstairs. Family run, friendly stuff nothing is to much trouble. The food is wonderful and I really don't know how they do it at the price. I would recommend Esma's to everyone.

We decided to eat at the restaurant around 5:30 as we were starved, the menu was quite extensive and it seemed relatively quiet. Beautiful meal, beautiful price. Lovely family restaurant. Put off by lack of ventilation and credit cards not accepted. But if can overlook these and be prepared you won't regret it.
