Arrived late on our first night tired and hungry,found Pizzeria Balognett (with Trip Adv. help) and called in at 10-30 pm to try and get a takeaway.We were greeted most cordially by the owners who then produced 5 of the best pizzas I ever tasted. Returned twice in the following week,same fantastic food,service and setting.Bellissimo

We found a review for this place online, and it was worth finding- I had one of the best pizzas that I have had in Italy. The service was good old fashioned italian hospitality. Definately recommend it. Just a note- you need to pay with cash (no card facilities).

After reading all the reviews we thought we would seek it out, well worth the effort, the owners were such charming people who really care about their food and made us feel very welcome. A real authentic homely experience well worth a visit!

Fine food in a beautiful setting, full of plants and surrounded by a vegetable garden, all meticulously maintained. The proprietors are charming people. The pizza is excellent. We went back a second time.

After reading all the great reviews for this place we were expecting it to be something special. Service was good but we've had much better pizzas elsewhere. This is a pizza ristorante...some salads, but menu is dominated by pizza...and it is excelent. Family owned - no cards.

If you are in Tremezzo, this is certainly a great option for pizza or calzone. It is up the hill along a nice residential street -- walking distance if you enjoy a bit of a hike.
