We went to the place after it was recommended by two good friends. What caught my ear was that they cook with charcoal and that is my favorite. I do not have a gas BBQ, it is charcoal. And sure enough, I had a great sirlion wiht that super charcoal taste. While it was a bit overcooked ( I asked...

This place is embarrassment to BBQer s. I spoke with the cook after sending ribs back. They were uneatable. A chainsaw would have been needed to cut them. I informed him of my issue and he was unphased by my complaint. I told him that we would not be returning and he said good. He should change the sign out...

We were here tonight for dinner and were very excited to try it. This was a big mistake. We came here last night and the hostess told us there was a fifty minute wait and when we asked to sit at the bar they told us we needed to leave. We were so excited to eat here we came back...

We love this place! The food, especially anything that is cooked in the back of their pickup truck grill, has always been outstanding. My husband always has the ribs, which have been falling off the bone tender. I go with whatever the seafood special is and have never been disappointed. The chef is creative with seafood and tropical fruit combinations...

One of the few places I found to get really good vegetarian food. Fabulous mofongo, very interesting and tasty green papaya and cashew salad, and some super yummy arugula. The waitress was wonderful. Watch out for the anti-mosquito coils burning under the table, though--the acrid stench competed with the food. And this place ain't cheap.
We were recommended this restaurant by the wait staff at El Con and after reading the reviews on here we thought we couldn't go wrong. My husband really enjoyed his steak, however I was not impressed with my BBQ ribs. They lacked BBQ and were extremely tough. For a restaurant famed for its BBQ I thought they would be tender...

The service was friendly. Relaxing ambience. But when we ordered 2 salads, a pincho, a few beers and one sangria...and the total was $75. We about fell over. Delicious, light food. but WAY TOO PRICEY. Will not visit again.
I had the best rib eye steak of my life at La Estacion!!!
We were referred to La Estacion when we checked into La Casitas late one night.... Outdoor atmosphere was great, mojitos wonderful - and I especially loved the chorizo appetizer paired with them. While the overall meal was pricy, the service was attentive - a very pleasant evening...
