We stayed in Honolulu in March for a few days and decided to go out for breakfast at one of the "nice" hotels on the Waikiki beach front. We wandered into the Halekulani Hotel and had a buffet breakfast at House Without a Key. Whoa!...they don't fool around. The cool part about this buffet was that they cater to a... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by fellow Aussies, we Loved it!! The service was excellent, the atmosphere was gorgeous, we enjoyed the Hawaiian band and hula dancer, the food was outstanding and it wasn't overpriced. Will definitely be going back.

View is fantastic, Food is delicious, and atmosphere serene! A bit pricey but the food is worth it. Try a mojito or magarita

We stayed at the Hilton for our Anniversary this weekend and Bali was closed (Sun & Mon) at the Resort. They recommended "House WIthout A Key" at Halekulani. We walked a short walk down the beach and entered oceanside at about 6:30pm. They don't take reservations but we were seated right away. I loved the atmosphere- all open seating and... More

This is the place where you get dressed up & go to in order to experience real "class" in outdoor dining on Oahu! Nice band, nice hula, relatively small menu, but reasonable prices for Waikiki. Be sure you learn which nights are "grill" nights, because the menu is entirely different.

Enjoy the outdoors, a view of Diamond Head and the service and quality of a 5 diamond hotel all in one place. If you stay long enough, take in early cocktails under the ancient kiawe tree listening to music and watch the sun set, Best done in the winter when you can wonder what people are doing elsewhere!

My 3 sisters and I have eaten here before when we were in Hawaii 4 years ago and had to go back, we like it so much because the food is good and there is nightly Hawaiian Music with a Hula Dancer, also an awesome sunset. We have gone there for Happy Hour and snacks just to listen to the... More

Very good fish kabob, and spicy tuna roll! We stopped here for appetizers and they were outstanding! Also- there was a great traditional Hawaiian trio and hula dancer that we really enjoyed. Better than the average hotel entertainment!

The view, ambiance and live music at House Without a Key cannot be beat. This was our second time here and we liked the food even more than the first time. The Coconut Cake was to die for. Everything is pricey here but it was the perfect place to go for our one fancier dinner out.
