Love the food at Peace Cafe. I travel a couple of times a year to Honolulu on business and always have several meals at Peace Cafe. The BBQ Tempeh Sandwich is so good, love the country style Miso Soup too. Can't wait till my next visit!

Love Peace Cafe and their awesome Vegan menu! I eat here whenever I'm downtown and I'm never disappointed. Place is small but cozy and staff is very friendly. I've tried many items but my fave is the Seoul of Korea. Their dessert menu changes daily so you'll be able to have something new each time. It's hard to find very...

Simple, good food, friendly staff. We found restaurant on Happy Cow. Walked there from Waikiki area first time. Close enough to Honolulu University that it has a campus feel. I had the bbq tempeh. very good. Second trip had the avo-veggie sandwich - piled high with sprouts, avocado, and other veggies. Yum! Big enough to share or tale away half....

this place is great. went there several times while visiting honolulu. had the Tempting Tempeh and the Heart & Seoul. i wanted to try others, but i liked these two items so much, i kept going back for them! everything was fresh and tasty.
I don't know why it's taken us so long to write a review of the best vegetarian (VEGAN!) restaurant on O'ahu. It's simple and casual, so if you're looking for a special night out, this might not be your best choice, but when we come home to Hawai'i, we eat here several times a week. The sandwiches are fresh, healthy,...

A real find in a city that doesn't make it very easy for vegans. Terrific food, friendly people. Loved the Moroccan stew and the curry "egg" salad. The vegan ice cream was also terrific! Definitely recommend it!
This place serves good vegan food, which is a rarity in Honolulu. I appreciate it. And yet I downgraded the rating of the restaurant a bit because sometimes the too-precious atmosphere of the place is just a bit much. The cashier is spacy. The prices are high. And there's just a bit of smugness to the place. Overall, I appreciate...

Delicious vegan sandwiches, salads, and a few entrees. Sandwiches are imaginative and varied. I always have trouble deciding what to order because so many are so great. Highly recommended for non-vegans too.
Everything on the menu looked wonderful, so I'll need to go back about 50 more times to try everything in it's different combinations. I tried the Yogini - light & simple w/brown rice, beans, greens, & seaweed and was feeling great the rest of the day. It's great having a vegan restaurant nearby!! I'll be back!
While Oahu is not known for good Mexican food, this place is the absolute worst I have ever eaten. We threw away the burritoes. Avoid like the plague
