I came into Flagstaff for the night and was looking for some great local eateries. After a little searching, I passed by Dara and decided tonight was a Thai food kind of night. My server at Dara Thai was friendly, enthusiastic, and prompt. My food (the drunken noodle at a "2" for heat) was pretty good, although I regret not... More

I enjoy the fresh food here- my salad which could use some more peanut in the dressing and less paprika, but the yellow curry was delicious and I only went with heat of "2", to be sure I would love it!...and of course a Thai iced tea can always help cut the heat of a meal.

We had dinner twice at Dara Thai during our trip to Arizona in april. What a relief to eat something that doesn't taste too sweet, too salty or too bland, like most American food. Lots of veggies, tasty meat and shrimp, good wine. The portions are more than enough and the menu has lots of variety. Service was good too.... More

Food was very delicious, never mind the spartan decorations ! Dessert was unusual and very good. A no-frills restaurant in a quiet location with delicious food.

As a local of 15 years, I've tried eating here a dozen times and being sat a dirty table was the final straw. Not only are they rude but FILTHY! There's a reason it's a ghost town in there, go to Pato Thai where the locals eat. Great lunch special and speedy carry out. Forget Dara Thai, I can't imagine... More

I have been going here for many years. Always good food that draws me back again. Evil Jungle Princess and many different curries are always wonderful. I had Arizona Heatwave on this last visit.

The last page of the menu lists a goodly number of vegetarian options, mostly made with tofu. We had three selections in our party. The portions were large, the flavored good, and the level of slickness was prepared to order and, to out palates, correctly described. Bit if you're vegan and trying to avoid oil, things are more limiters becauseosr... More

Big menu, friends are always happy with food and service. Not outstanding, but very good. We go here occasionally. Several other restaurants in Flagstaff we like too. #2 spicy for me was on the mild side this last visit. I might go 3 next time. I like heat but not overpowering. South of the tracks, North of NAU, walking distance... More

We ordered Yellow Curry and Gaeng Kari. The yellow Curry was flavorful and spicy. The Gaeng Kari is a cellophane noodle vegetable dish. It had a little too much fish sauce, but I did enjoy it. The soup my daughter ordered had raw veggies on top of a plain chicken soup. She didn't care for it even though Thai soup... More
