Good food, good lunch. Its cozy but I get my lunch in a timely manner and its only half a block from the courthouse. Been going here since before they moved to the new location. A local favorite.

The soup was and salty; the kreplach were hard and undercooked (on several occasions), the pastrami was fatty, the prices high, especially considering the (low) quality. Despite its convenient location near the SCC, I'll not be returning anytime soon.

This was my first meal in Scranton, and things only got better. The corned beef was very good, but the remainder of the meal (eggs, hashbrowns, bagel, potato pancakes) was only ordinary. Prices and service were good, but I was not impressed overall.

Food is always delicious and consistent. Great potato pancakes! (No need to wait for the Summer Church Picnics!) They'll prepare anything the way you want it.

The food is great, as are the prices. The service is efficient and the owners are friendly. I wish they had a bigger seating area. The have some very good breakfast specials.

We've eaten at Abe's and have picked up food as well. Always good and inexpensive. Hot plates as well as sandwiches. Great cookies too! We order food to be delivered to family member at VA facility and they are always helpful and more than willing to do so!

Abe's is one of our favorite stops in downtown Scranton, especially when we're looking for bagels and lox. The deli is clean, moderately priced and serves a wide variety of dishes to suit anyone's taste. Give it a chance and you're sure to return.
