Based on recommendations we made a reservation for 7:30 for 7 people on the final night of our Santa Fe holiday. Got there on time to learn that the table wasn't ready so we went for a walk, came back 20 minutes later, still no table. Sat in the courtyard for another chilly 15 minutes and the waiter suggested that... More

The hype this place gets is Not Worthy! They think they are all that and cannot deliver! Tasteless Ribeye, Raw lam chips , and when brought to the waiters attention was called " sweetheart" yuck! Never go back and never recommend !!

I can not believe Santacafe is not the #1 rated restaurant in Santa Fe. We celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary here and everything was wonderful. I love the smaller, cozy rooms they use for the dinning areas, not to many tables, but enough you don't feel alone in the room. Two years a go I sat outside on their large... More

The Santa Cafe can get pretty crowded, even in the "off" season, as it is popular with locals, especially for lunch. But if you can dine a bit early (or late) and on the patio, it is a very romantic place to celebrate anything. Food is generally wonderful but service may be spotty. In the winter, the inside dining is... More

We stopped in for lunch today, a Saturday, at this classic Santa Fe Bistro. This is in a lovely setting, inside and out, brunch, lunch or dinner. Santa Cafe has a wonderful outside patio, great for summer and the place to eat when the weather is good. Today we ate inside the old, thick, whitewashed adobe walls. The service was... More

This place is a little off the square, maybe 2 blocks. It's an old monastery and they have a plexiglass hole in the floor over the original well (way-cool). Our food was consumed at the bar after a day of hiking and Hayden couldn't have been NICER! He was a gracious host, good conversationalist, and the recommendations on food were... More

As a prerequesite, we were not dressed up to the level of those surrounding us. However, the waiters treating us with condescension, taking only half the drink orders, and rarely checking in on us, is not acceptable. The food was phenomenal; however, and that matter is what saved our evening.

A perfect place for lunch -and dinner but I always end up here for lunch! The patio is amazing with it dappled sunlight...magical...if the weather is good, request a patio table! Being an Albuquerque resident, I am in Santa Fe frequently - and with my 11 year old daughter many times. She ALWAYS asks to eat here! The food is... More

We dined at Santacafe on a Sunday evening during the infamous restaurant week, however we did not partake in any of the dining discounts. We made a reservation and asked to sit by the fireplace. We were seated in a small room w/ a small non-working fireplace that was not near our table. Instead, there was a family of 3... More

My friend and I almost went elsewhere for my birthday lunch, instead of our usual celebratory location, SantaCafe. What were we thinking? Even in February, the place is busy at lunch. The food is always great, as is the service. The dumpling appetizer is so yummy we could have just ordered a big plate of them and been happy. Lunch... More
