Great barbeque casual dining for all occasions. Family, friends, co-worker lunch or dinner alike. Keeps the drinks frosty and the food hot and tasty.
This was a great surprise! Hungry on the interstate and looking for a place to eat quick, smoked BBQ with huge Texas-style portions- hello Rudy's! Between the creamed corn, baked beans, smoked cuts of all kinds of pork, and peach cobbler, our eyes were certainly bigger than our stomach. Being first-timers, we were under the impression that all the trimmings...

I used to live down the street from a Rudy's and now live on the other side of the USA. There are times when I wake up in the middle of the night craving this BBQ.
Rudy's sells BBQ by the pound and sides by the pint, quart, etc. Don't expect any fresh, green veggies here. One of the things...

Basic service and not comfortable dining but awesome barbeque. The brisket is tender and juicy like it should be. My favorite Brisket place in the USA.

The worst part of my trip to San Antone was when Xray checker confiscated my Rudys BBQ sauce. He let me keep the rub. I didnt want to pay 25.00 to check in a bag with 12.00 worth of stuff....so beware the Rudys BBQ sauce puts you over your liquid limit.
Other than that it was deeeeelicious! The creamed corn!...

WE went tot the original Rudy's off of 10 West. We were told this is the original place and it lived up to it's reputation. Very basic service and long picnic tables inside. We had the pulled pork and it was good. WE tasted the turkey and would have gone for it if we had not already ordered. Don't think...

I love Rudy's. Never had a bad meal, have never been disappointed with anything about this place. Some advice if you've not visited: Don't get fancy to eat there; shorts and flip flops will do. Relax and enjoy it. Just thinking about this place makes my mouth water.
