On a weekday we encountered an unfriendly and inattentive server. This fellow did not even introduce himself. I found out that his name was Lionel from another server who stopped to help after seeing us searching for our server. This new guy was a keeper, but all the servers should be good at a top scale place. No matter how... More

We have eaten at the Las Vegas one several times, and the attentiveness here is not even close .Although not busy at all, we had to ask for breadplates for the breadbasket they had set down. When you are paying these prices )and they are on empty set tables) you expect more. And for the 1 lb Lobster tail I... More

I had big expectations going into the palm and for the most part they were satisfied. We had a bowl of the lobster bisque which was quite good but no peices of lobster. We each had a shrimp bruno and the shrimps were huge and the sauce made of dijon mustard, different but good.We also shared a 3 pound lobster which was... It's our special occasion place (and we have never lived anywhere there is a Palm, making it even more special), so I could never get away with dinner tat a Palm without my wife. The Palm has a great happy hour deal. Half price bar-food, but not your usual bar food: It's quite good. More importantly, the great wines by-the-glass... More

Business dinner in March, during conference. Place was packed - expected that. Noisy - expected that too. Table not ready - sort of expected that given how busy they were. Prices very high - kinda expected that too. Food was bland - did NOT expect that. I ordered lamb and while it looked like lamb it neither smelled nor tasted... More

I see some bad reviews for this place and I just don't understand why? To each his own though. As for me... I have been to The Palm in San Antonio over 30 times and not once have I had a bad experience with the staff or with the food. Sure, often I have been there after their lunch rush... More

The Palm is one of those places that you either like or don't like. The menu is heavy (pun intended) with red meat options that are large enough to feed small families. And they know how to grill a steak! On the other hand, many overlook the traditional Italian dishes that were actually the start of the restaurant chain. My... More

Great experience for my first time, especially considering how busy it was. Great service, reasonable price in an upbeat environment.

The wait staff ignores you, the veggies are almost raw and badly seasoned, the meat is overpriced and only average quality at best, and the lobster is a joke-- much smaller than advertised. On top of this they act as though they are doing you a favor by letting you spend $20 for a drink and $75-100 per person for... More

I had the Chilean Bass which was very good. The rest our dinners were ok, but the service was disjointed and rushed. Very pricey. Overall not impressed.
