I would like to give a BIG THANK YOU, to the staff at Ibiza Patio Restaurant in the Palacio Del Rio Hilton Hotel on the San Antonio river walk. They played a very special part in one of the most memorable moments in the life of I and my wife Angie. I chose to surprise my wife (of 20 years)...

My wife and I were in town for thanksgiving and we wanted to see the lighting of the river so we stopped in and had dinner at the River's Edge cafe. Apparently they hve just recently renamed the restaurant (formerly ibeza), but we had never been there before. I have eaten on the river a few times and I can...

Cobb salad looked OK but have no idea why it was smothered in pepper, I scraped off the areas it was heavy and...

We sat there at least 10 minutes with a waiter and waitress standing around and they saw us. We got up and left!
Breakfast, I didn't have much time. So I simply ask the young lady for hard poached eggs on white toast. 10 minutes later? Soft eggs on wheat toast. Whatever, I ate it without comment. After work, down to the bar I go for a night cap. When I drink scotch it is always Macallan 12. I know what it is...
