In San Antonio one night for business and this was the perfect restaurant for dinner. Pleasantly situated on the Riverwalk away from the riff raff. The salmon was perfection. Service was attentive & warm. If you find yourself on the Riverwalk, I highly recommend dining here.

We stayed in the Omni hotel attached to the Canarias restaurant. Our trip included the buffet breakfast in the Canarias which was excellent with good attentive staff, and personally made omelettes. We had dinner one evening, the menu was limited, very expensive and the food was not exceptional.

The chef doing the omelettes was AWESOME!! Everything else was less than spectacular. Just a very odd selection and not much to choose from. For being as pricey as it is you would think there would be a much larger selection of normal breakfast fare. There wasn't even pancakes on the buffet?!

Lots of great restaurants on the San Antonio Riverwalk. I think this is the best. What a perfect evening. Great ambiance whether outside on the elevated patio overlooking the Riverwalk, or indoors in a wonderful dining room with Riverwalk views. What wonderful, friendly, accommodating service! My wife and I visited this restaurant last evening based on Trip Advisor reviews. Booked via Open Table. We were not at all disappointed. I give it a 4-star instead of a 5 only because it was not the best restaurant we've ever eaten at although I would rank it near the top of the "very-good" category. Service was 5-star

If you only have 24 hours on the Riverwalk, Las Canarias is a MUST! Forget the others.... Go straight to the best. We had drinks earlier in the day to discuss dinner.... And we were already there! Superb Brunch, nicely presented and good quality food with great service and unlimited Mimosas. Can't complain about this restaurant at all.

Great buffet with lots of selection and was good value and delicious. Hours are good and service fantastic. A la carte available as well. Gets u through the day
