No specific issues, was just missing that "something" I look for in a dining experience. They do have a feature I like - half orders (and price) on their entrees.

A five star experience in the midst of 2 star (or worse) competitors. This place is a real gem. The small inside dining area gives it intimacy and a sense of really being in Tuscany. The food and service are a welcome addition to the River Walk. This is a restaurant that can hold its own with the best of... More

We had dinner here on a Saturday evening. We stopped by a little after 7:30 p.m., without a reservation, and they were able to seat us right away. We chose to sit outside, which is always risky in June in Texas, even in the evening, but it was not very humid (comparatively) and there was a nice breeze. The patio... More

to be short and sweet - this place was amazing. Service, food, ambiance, location - all exceeded expectations. From the perfectly seared scallops to the most tender lamb chops I've eaten - hands down one of the best in SA. Oh, and complimentary champagne at the bar! Our bartender made us feel like we were the only 2 people in... More

Very unique menu updated daily with organic products, and fresh catch of the day. Flavorful taste of the chef innovation coupled with some red Pinot made it an excellent experience. Scallops are highly recommended for a starter and ribeye is made to perfection. If i had to choose something to improve it would be the Espresso.

I am a pretty tough customer. I can hands-down say this is the best meal I have ever eaten in a restaurant. If you go, and I highly suggest you do---- order this: 11-spiced Texas Axis venison and grilled Texas quail, parsnip puree, chestnuts, Brussels sprouts, cranberry raisin chutney, juniper sauce Amazing dish! They've got a fantastic wine selection, and... More

Really nice atomosphere. Enjoyed the house apple smoked salmon salad followed by the tasty red snapper. Then we sampled four items off of the dessert menu. My favorite was the bread pudding. The service was perfect, our waitress was very friendly and prompt. We had a really nice time (supported by a hefty bill), but it was all worth it.... More

My partner booked a table online and for doing this we were offered two free glasses of champagne! The service was excellent with our waiter explaining different items on the menus and making recommendations. For appetizers we had the Bibb and Radicchio Game Packets which were delicious and the Pork Pot Stickers. For main course my partner had the Seared... More
