I had to kill some time before meeting Cody Hooper, a renowned painter. I had coffee and Italian Cream Cake. UNBELIEVABLE!
We gave the Black Mesa Cafe a try while passing by their inviting store front in Albuquerque. I had two of what looked like fresh baked chocolate chip cookies while my friend had coffee. The cookies were soft, fresh and delicious. My friend said his coffee was better than DD's which he prefers. We were very happy we gave them... More
Good place to grab coffee at the airport. I prefer it to Starbucks. It was delicious and the location is just perfect.
My favorite stop at ABQ Sunport airport. On my last tip, I had a Rocky Mountain Coffee and Panini Sandwich for lunch. One of my kids like the Strawberry Smoothie. The staff was professional and friendly. Overall great value with fresh food and quick service. In the mornings, try a Breakfast Burrito.
While i have discovered some great places to eat at airports, this place was not one of the. Relying on the reviews, and lacking any other reviews at the airport, i ate a breakfast burrito here. They are made elsewhere and microwaved after taking the out of their refrigerator. The burrito was average at best and not all the cheese... More
Look for them either before the security checkpoint in the main terminal, or near gate A9. Coffee and service were fantastic. Wish we hadn't eaten the green eggs and burn-n-serve sausage at the hotel so we could have had breakfast here.
Whenever I travel into the Albuquerque Airport, I make it a point to have the Sausage Green Chili Burrito. Packed with eggs, potatoes, chili and salsa. Tasty and filling. Great food and great service. Try it and you will love it.
This airport coffee shop/bakery is even better than it looks. Their coffee drinks are really good, there is a great selection of hot or cold breakfast items, and plenty in the deli refrigerator to choose from and take with you. For those with gluten problems some of their items are gluten-free - just ask, and they will tell you what... More
Very time we travel thru the Sunport, we stop at Black Mesa Coffee company. Also very friendly service, fresh ingredients and good size portions. Women owned and not part of the airport chain! They work hard as a team to assure their customers the best!
The coffee was great - nice and bold without being bitter or burnt. The breakfast wrap was mostly potatoes. The little cup of salsa made it much better. The fruit was an added bonus. I'll try something else next time...
