A friend recommended this restaurant while I was in Albuquerque. The food was excellent and they had a large selection of items. I definitely recommend this place if you like Mediterranean food.

A consistently fabulous restaurant... pricey but you could do lunch and order a special. It's like you are relaxing on the Mediterranean. Service is superb.
A very popular place to eat, judging by the crowd. We were seated in the bar area which turned out to be a great place to hear the live music.
We began with the Greek appetizer plate which gave us a little taste of the menu. They had run out of one of the special salads early in the evening...

Everything we had was perfectly prepared and impeccably plated. The portobello mushroom with balsamic was one of the best appetizers I've ever had.
The extensive menu is basically Mediterranean. We were seated on the patio which was very pleasant. Most customers were dressed in dressy casual wear. A few were dressed up.
Service was great. Plenty of attentive servers keep...

We enjoyed our 46th wedding anniversary at Yanni's restaurant in Albuquerque NM. This was our first visit and we were delighted to find out that parking was available behind the restaurant. While that was an added the benefit, the food and service was outstanding. The ambience was also quite enjoyable. I always look forward to the opportunity to enjoy a...

We took friends for dinner before a show at Popejoy Hall. We all ordered steak, three Filet Mignon Oscar and one NY Strip Steak. The Filets were awful. None were cooked as ordered and the meat itself was obviously of inferior quality. The Strip steak was okay but was definitely not prime beef as advertised. We sent the three filets...

We were leaving Albuquerque and wanted to have something healthy on our last night. We found Yanni's on TA and called. The manager was so friendly and patient. He gave us great directions from our hotel and reduced our anxiety about the parking (which they have plenty of in the rear lot) and generally invited us to dine there. All...

I have been to Yannis four times now, and I have to admit that I never tried anything else other than Moussaka because I loved their Moussaka much. This time I got a chance to taste some thing else from my friend’s plate, medium-rare lamb prepared the Greek way. It was fantastic! Yannis had a good variety of red &...

Every time I eat at Yanni's, I want to be impressed. I never am. The entrees I've had have all been dry. I had a pork chop a while ago that was overcooked. Recently, I had a fish filet that was also very dry. It needed all the lemon I could squeeze onto it. The atmosphere indicates that the food...

I am neither a foodie nor well-versed in Greek cuisine, so my opinions are just based on my own preferences. I liked the food at Yanni's, and would have enjoyed a quieter meal. The acoustics and layout make for noise; the place was not overrun with loud children or anything like that.
