I admit the Cube is a little off putting when you walk in- it's cavernous, the cooling system on a hot day leaves a little bit to be desired-- I am not sure what the building was before it housed The Cube- but wait.... don't leave.... The chalkboards advertise the delicious offerings- according to my friend it has the same... More

If you like Memphis-style barbecue, you have to try The Cube. The meats are always tender and moist and their barbecue sauce has become my favorite in Albuquerque. Their chicken is a great value: half a chicken for about the same price as their brisket or pulled pork. I always end up getting two meals out of it. Their baked... More

We went to this place one Friday night for the live music. The music was just OK, but the food was great. I loved the beef brisket and the mashed sweet potatos. We also had the rasberry limonade which was to die for and comes with free refills. I must have had 3 or 4 glasses it was so good.... More

This place looks like a bad night club, but actually it is some serious down home food. Don't expect big smoke, but they have a huge menu of good meats and sides and a selection of cold flavored and unflavored teas.

I went because a friend had eaten there a few hours earlier and raved. I arrived 1/2 hr. before closing time. I was greeted by smiles and great food. I asked about the chicken as I don't eat sugars or flour. The chef/owner freely offered a deal on the chicken as it was near closing and I think didn't want... More

I am a total foodie so I LOVE baby back ribs (dry rub) that fall off the bone, peppery collard greens in pot likker, Roasted Turkey Legs! Fresh Cobbler for dessert, amazing! I also happen to avoid all sugar, flour and fried foods, so discovering that the chef was completely cool with that and that we had lots of "clean"... More

A sign at the door says it's Memphis style. There's BBQ, local Marble microbrew on tap, a huge board for hotdogs, another for BBQ sandwiches, another for hamburgers, a large selection of sides, some decent looking desserts, and a variety of iced teas. The lemonade looked to be homemade. Our family found this somewhat by accident. My boy was craving... More

The Cube opened a few blocks from my house and I had never had a bad meal (and I eat there often!) My favorite is the brisket with mac and cheese side. I gave friends one of The Cube's sweet potato pies as a gift and they loved it! Gluten free, if that's important to you. Everything is fresh and... More
