We eat A LOT of Tex-Mex/Mexican food...Acapulco's reminded both my husband and I of the most authentic Mexican food that we've had since we were actually in Mexico and him of growing up in San Antonio. The first time we went, my husband had the sirloin ranchero plate and LOVED it! He said the meat had wonderful flavor. I had... More

First off, love the tortillas and chips, definitely made by someone who knows how it is done, not from a store that thinks they do. Chips, salsa, and guacamole could have easily been dinner. I ordered the carne guisada taco and the chicken fajita taco for dinner. Carne Gusiada was pretty good, but i was surprised the chicken fajita meat... More

I went to Acapulco restaurant with my family. It was a great experience. The building is small, but the food is excellent. I ordered their ribeye steak special. It was excellent. Nicely cooked and tender. The chips and salsa were great too. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant was excellent. I would definitely recommend it... More

Swung by over spring break. Everyone had a real solid meal. The tamales were extremely fresh and the chips included flour and corn. Definitely a big upgrade from a chain.

You will get a lot of good food at a low price. They always had specials. We love the chips, salsa, shrimp, steak and smoked sausage. They had very fast service.

We went to the one on Airline. It is a down home restaurant, not fancy, but a lot of locals. They make their own chips and tortillas and the entrees are excellent and the prices very reasonable. I don't think anything was over $10.

I have eaten at both of the Acapulco Restaurants in Corpus Christi, the one on Airline and the one on Weber and Gollihar. They are great! My husband and I go to the one on Weber and Gollihar and order the flour tacos or the plate of Carne Asada. They prepare the meat so well, so tender and tasty. We... More

I have had Mexicine cuisine all over the US, and by far this is the best outside of So. Calif.! The prices are excellent, the food is always tasteful and appealing to the eye. One look at the menu and you will be amazed at the value you get for the prices! Excellent salsa and fresh homemade style chips are... More

This place is consistently good. Always hot and fresh and very good service. They're always busy in a town with a million taquerias so that should tell you something.
