My husband found this place. Wow! It was awesome! Huge portions and relics. We had ribs, small portion and it was too much! The ribs fell off the bone!
We had the pulled pork and sliced brisket. It was good. The brisket was a little dry, but nothing that a bunch of sauce can't cure. And there were six selections of different barbecue sauces right there on the table! I liked the sweet flavor...has a nice smokey taste. Lots of food was given to you so order carefully. Plus... More
Been to the Pig twice in the last 30 days and couldn't eat all of it either time! The first visit was a business lunch with 7 of us and nobody could eat the entire portion. Several to go boxes at the table! The second time was a family visit and the two of us managed to have enough to... More
...This is a review of Smok'n Pig's side items. Yes, I know--no one goes to a BBQ joint for vegetables, but I did. I ate the BBQ beans (2 serving) and collard greens with cornbread. Changed my life. I'm from the south and I'm pretty picky about my greens, but these were authentic, southern, like your grandma's greens for sure.... More
We visited during lunch and ordered the pulled pork and chicken fingers. I also ordered the brunswick stew and it was one of the best that I have ever had. They serve A LOT of food, so come hungry!
Being from North Carolina, I'm selective when choosing barbecue restaurants, but decided to give this place a chance after observing people driving into the Macon Mall parking lot and immediately going to this establishment. Once inside, I found it to be spacious, wait staff friendly and immediately attentive, and a variety of items on the menu. They offer a number... More
So on a cross country odyssey from Charleston to Alabama we got an itching for BBQ. Not in the mood for a hole in the wall we found this place thru TripAdvisor. This place is at the mall with a HUGE dinning room. If you ever have to wait for a seat I would be surprised. DaMamma had the Rib... More
Large, new restaurant adjacent to the Remodeled Macon Mall. The food was served hot and fresh with large portions. The pulled pork was a bit on the dry side, but that's a price I will pay to have pork that's not soaked in sauce to cover poor taste. The potato salad, and Brunswick Stew was average, but saved by the... More
I saw the reviews here and the hotel staff recommended this place so it seemed good enough to try. We weren't disappointed. The staff was great, friendly and efficient. I am no a connoisseur of BBQ but I know good food when I eat it. This was good food. Hubby had the 1/2 slab of St. Louis ribs and I... More
