We visited this place as it was across the street from our Hotel and everyone raved about the Happy Hour and Sunsets...man, they weren't kidding! Had the best sliders EVER and awesome drinks. the patio is situated perfectly to watch the sunset. It doesn't get better than that in Hawaii! Service was excellent and there was a neat one man... Average food (greasy, too much fried and unhealthy stuff, bar/pub type food), atmosphere (dated and boring music) poor to average, overall value was average. The best thing about it is that is quiet, not very busy and with a decent "distant" view of the ocean. The service was also average and the food took ages to come out....there are many... More

This was a great lunch spot. Very good food and service. The view of the ocean was very nice. This was the clubhouse for what is now two closed golf courses. Prices are right especially for Maui. We did not attend, but the happy hour with the sunset would be a treat we are sure.

After trying Gannon's for lunch one day, we decided to try Cafe on the Green for lunch the next day. The views from both restaurants are wonderful but we felt that Cafe on the Green offered better food, better service and better value. Since it is only a mile down the road from Gannon's, this is now our preferred location... More

What a beautiful setting for a dinner. Gorgeous views and a great feel. Visited for a special wine dinner. Service was off, food was not paired well, and there were too many people. We booked wel in advance and our reservation had not been made when we called to confirm the day of. They said they do this every month,... More

Aloha, we are sorry to hear about your experience being as such during our wine dinner. Our resort hosts wine dinners every month featuring a new distinguished winery or cellar every month. Unlike other wine tasting events we actually bring in the wine maker or a representative of the selected winery to host each event. We are sorry to hear... More

We wound up eating dinner here twice, as we were staying at Makena Resort almost right across the street. The first time we just had happy hour drinks and appetizers. The second time we ordered from the regular menu. Both dinner experiences were excellent. In each case, the waitress was exceptionally attentative and friendly. The view is gorgeous. We found... Went for a late lunch and ended up staying for happy hour. Decent prices, good eats and nice staff. We enjoyed watching the whale activity from our table with a great view. I highly recommend Cafe on the Green.

Wow. Didn't expect that the food would be as good as the view. Had the shrimp rolls, sate sampler and ahi Niçoise salad for lunch. Early extremely well done and washed down with some refreshing beers. Perfect spot for lunch.

We stayed at Makena Resort and would not have thought of stopping by this gorgeous spot if we hadn't been resort guests. I'm so glad we did and I would recommend it to anyone for lunch or happy hour. We were riding bikes around the Makena area and getting a bit tired and thirsty. I saw the sign for Cafe... More
