This is a wonderful place to stop by after a day at the beach with a beautiful view and great food and drink. By far the highlight was the Mai Tai, so completely different from any other Mai Tai you've ever had, perfectly tropical and delicious with out being some cheesy-sugary confection. The food here is also awesome. If whatever... More

After reading all the great reviews, we were so disappointed in our dinner at Monkeypod. My dinner came cold and the side salad I asked for did not come in advance of dinner...it came with dinner. Regrettably the salad was doused in salad dressing and was horrible to eat so i just left it. The restaurant seemed staffed appropriately, however,... More

Monkeypod is awesome! We had dinner here twice while in Maui. We live in San Diego, the craft beer capital of the US and were very happy with the beer selection here! They even had a San Diego brewery on tap! The bar is fun and the restaurant has nice atmosphere. I had the Mahi and loved it. One night... More

Atmosphere was lively with a nice patio dinning area with a somewhat distant ocean view. Menu selection was very good but limited for gluten conscious dinning. Staff was very willing and helpful in making modifications to menu selections!

I loved the laid back atmosphere of this place and I loved that all the food is locally grown. We had delicious garlic parm fries, seared ahi that was so fresh and tender and a butternut squash pizza. I just wish there was one of these back home.

Fantastic food...the ravioli to start was incredible and the whole menu was worthy of returning more than once, which we did. Pizza, fish, pasta, very good menu with a local flavour on mainstream menu. Would definitely return to try more items on the menu

Good atmosphere, service, location (ocean views). We had the Pumpkin Patch Ravioli appetizer, the fish sandwich, fish tacos and the Organic Macadamia Nut Crusted Fish of the Day...everything was very good. Our neighboring table had a couple of the pizzas and we could here them rave about the taste. You must try their Mai Tia...quite different than others I've tried... More

Monkeypod is on the secondfloor of an outdoor mall. We had lunch here. I had the fish sandwich and it was pretty good. My wife had salad. My son had the king kong cheeseburger which he enjoyed and my daughter enjoyed the pasta. Overall a good place for a family meal.
