Terrible food quality! The fish and chips are greasy. Fries are old and oily. Fryer oil hasn't been changed in weeks. STAY AWAY!

I'm pregnant, and crave grease a LOT. Not the best pregnancy diet, I know. But, when they cravings get really bad, I go to Docherty's! They have really good, crispy, fried fish. Yum. I've never seen it terribly busy in there, so the service is usually very quick. I'm not a fan of their French fries. They always taste a... More

First time here since new owner's and will be the last, it was awful. Overcooked fish & chips. Fish was 60% batter and 40% fish. This used to be the best fish and chips to be found but not anymore.

First time eating here after living in the area for over 20 years. The fish was very flaky and not greasy. The staff is very friendly. My only complaint was the cushions on the seats, I kept slipping off them and had to sit on the edge so I didn't end up on the floor.

Awesome fish and even better fries. The atmosphere sucks but the staff are friendly and again the food is great.

Unless you don't like fish and chips!!! If you need a place to go and cure your munchies for cheap It is very economical for a HUGE plate of chips! Watch your shins on their wooden tables. (you'll know when it happens)

This was one of my favourite places to eat when I was a child. Great Fish and Chips, but super greasy.

I'm sorry this person had a bad experience with our restaurant. I personally visit all tables after they have been given their meals and ask customers if their meals are OK and if not I will replace them. So far I have had no complaints from that issue. I do also have comment cards for customers to complete and give... More
