This restaurant was right down the road from the Best Western where we stayed. We finally tried it on the last night and I wish we had gone the first night of our stay because I would have returned EVERY night for dinner. The service and food are excellent and prices good. If you like rhubarb you have to try... More

My husband, 10 year old grandson and I had dinner while on vacation in the Black Hills at the Power House. Our experience was wonderful. Although we ordered a childl's portion of prime rib for our grandson, it was every bit as large as ours. And, of course, he ate all of it and some of mine. Must be the... More

Hubby and I tried for the first time - buffalo meat. It's actually good. We enjoyed their other food choice too. We ate here for breakfast and dinner. Not bad at all. Happy trails!

Dined three times during ten day stay in the area. Great food, friendly staff, beautiful setting. Will consider staying in one of their cabins on property during next visit.

We ate breakfast here and it was pretty good. The food was fresh and tasted good. There wasn't a huge variety on the menu. The service was acceptable but not as attentive as I would have liked. Not a bad place to eat but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there.

Love this place...we have eaten here about 15 times over the past 3 summers on our annual pilgrimage to the Black Hills. Trying to find even decent food in the Black Hills is tough....finding a horrific meal is more common. Thank God for the Powder House. Breakfast - outstanding - the breakfast sandwich is to die for: ham, hash browns,... More

My partner and I were on a 7 day self-contained bicycle tour of the Black Hills in Sept. 2012. As part of this we spend two days in Keystone, SD. After several dismal meals, the hope for a (first) good meal was fading fast. Luckily we were referred to this place by our innkeeper. In a word, Very, very good.... More

Nice rustic atmosphere, good wild game meals, and good service. The meals are a little pricey but expected. Good place to eat.

I'm always reluctant to 'dis' a restaurant but feel this one is a hit or miss place. We ate there two nights and neither night was a total disaster or a total success. First night was extremely noisey as a large group were having a 'hooting' good time. The walleye would have been terrific as it was well prepared but... More
