We liked the big guy that was behind the counter. He was very proud of his restaurant. The food was fine. Nothing special. We had a grilled pastrami sandwich. It was hot and bread was crunchy, but meat could have been sliced thinner to make it easier to eat. I didn't see any dessert there, which was surprising.

Hi mow11, Thanks for taking the time to review us, and thank you for your thoughtful criticism about the thickness of our pastrami. This issue has long been a debate inside the Teddy's Deli kitchen, and it seems as though your palate sides with mine (although you and I seem to be in the minority). We'll certainly revisit the debate... More

I highly recommend the reuben. The women's bathroom trash was overflowing, though. The location is very close to the Alpine slides and gift shops.

When we arrived it was the only place open in town! And thank god it was! Super delicious, fast and great customer service!! Our trip to Mount Rushmore would have been incomplete without this stop! Best Ruebens on this side of the Mississippi!!!

We went in on the spur of the moment and we were very pleased with the quality of the sandwich and the politeness of night crew led by Jeff. Definitely would recommend this deli.

Off GoingI RespectThe Opinion Of Others who Have poste Reviews for Teddy Deli. I Disagree. Food Was Very Average. My wifes Turkey Sandwich Was Processed YMeat. My Pastrami Sandwich Was Very Salty. my Wife Wanted Her Sandwich Heated. 50 Cents Extra. You would Be Better off GoinG Down The Street To Subway.

We were starving after a day in Custer and Mt. Rushmore. The admission girl at the park recommended Teddy's Deli because we were looking for a place with a vegetarian option. Everyone enjoyed their food! It was tasty, and the portions were more than enough!!! It hit the spot! Service was also very friendly :)

The hubby and I stopped here because we wanted to get something light. The service was extremely friendly and the prices were decent. Usually you expect to get "soaked" in a tourist town, but these prices weren't too bad. We both had a Caesar wrap and fries. This is truly the best Caesar wrap I have ever had in my... More

We were in Keystone in early May and stopped for a quick lunch at Teddy's Deli. We were greeted by very friendly staff who chatted with us and made us feel very comfortable! We chose the reuben and a chicken caeser wrap, both were excellent! It was a little early in the tourist season but we got the feeling that... More

We were very excited and pleasantly surprised to find that Teddy's had a gluten free bread option. We found the cashier/order taker to be be very friendly and helpful. I would pass on the Wisconsin Cheese Soup, but our sandwiches were good. I would return if in the neighborhood again.
