I simply couldn't believe the waitress arguing with my husband over a drink order. Why not just give the customer what he wants instead of fighting with him about how to make his drink. I can understand someone having a bad night, but this went way, way beyond that. After bragging that she's an expert and doesn't need anyone telling... More

Serves Italian food, but the specials are the greatest, steaks, fish, pork etc.. it truly melts in your mouth. Alcoholic drinks are reasonable priced and you can actually taste the alcohol in the drink. Atmosphere is fantastic. Waiters and Waitress who serve you are very friendly and willing to do almost anything to make your dining experience rememberable.. Only drawback... More

I stopped by for carbo loading before a marathon. The pasta selections were OK, just not what I wanted. Basic spaghetti would have been much better. I agreed to Pasta Norma, which the server said would have more pasta than I needed and he was right. I didn't finish even a third of it. Bread came in slices, which I... More

My husband and I have been going to Ricardo's for years, we are, as some of the reviews state "regulars" and we are treated very well every time we are there. We don't go as much anymore, since we moved out of Lowell, but whenever we return, it's like "Cheers" and everyone knows our name. Anyway...the food there is amazing... More

The food was wonderful and so was the wait staff. I would definitely recommend it. Also, try the Lobster Ravioli. It was delicious!

We were greeted cordially by Ricardo himself and shown to our reserved table where he helped my wife with her coat and chair. Our server was Nancy and she is the consummate pro. Great attitude, attentive service, in depth menu knowledge, and a wonderful sense of meal timing, e.g. did not bring entree while we were still eating salad. We... More

we were shown to a tiny table jammed between two others, the noise was deafening. the service was poor. wrong food put on our table, the waitress dropped the cutleryon the floor. we ordered a bowl of pasta and a salad when it came the salad was on a large plate which would't fit on the table so we had to... I have dined there many many times and every time you are asked if you have a reservation. If you do not you are treated like a second class citizen. You are asked this even when the restaurant is half empty. Food is always very good but service I feel is better for regulars. I will go back however only... More

Had tickets to a nearby show at Christmas time and dined at Ricardo's Cafe Tratorria for the first time then, with good friends. The food was excellent, the portions ample, the wine selection wide, and the service stellar. We wished that we had enough time before the show to sample desserts. This month we had house guests and took them... More
